"The arrangement and objets d'art, and perhaps the most critical consideration -- the quality of light in the space -- together determine how each work responds to its environment as it defines the very spirit of a room, and in doing so, enhances the art."

--Dan Parker

"This book, "African Art: The Diaspora and Beyond" is a must have."

"Entering Mr. Parker's home is like visiting a private museum. His collection, in a word, is awesome. It is awesome because of the art itself, and pure aesthetic, the overall collection, and the presentation. It is the quality collection of a real art lover, and this book is a true treasure because it shares and documents his passion.
